We are a group of Aruban Christians who by the leading of God founded this academy that is grounded on the biblical truths and teachings of what God intended with and for worship.
The idea to start up an academy was birthed into the hearts of several people, who make up the current team at Psalmody Academy. More specifically, Mr. Cesar Gomez, the president and chairman of our foundation has been moved throughout his life to be part of God’s “restoration of the fallen house of David”, according to Amos 9:11.
The aim of our academy is to instruct people, who are called and gifted according to the will of God, in the ministry of Worship Music on the island of Aruba. We believe in building a solid biblical foundation and equipping worshippers to worship the Father in Spirit and truth, according to John 4:24, and to teach students to play skillfully and/or work with excellency in the area of their calling and gifting, according to Psalms 33:3.

It is our belief that our Lord Jesus Christ wants to return to a church that worships Him the way David did, who know Him intimately, and who can stand against the enemy of this world. We believe that by worshiping God as He has ordained, our island and our churches will experience a greater measure of God’s glory, healing, deliverance, revival and restoration, thus, being transformed into the Bride that Christ so desires.
We also believe that the restoration of worship is God’s sovereign plan and that we are to partner with Him, as He promised in Jeremiah 32:39-40, “And I will give them one heart and one purpose: to worship Me forever....And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good for them. I will put a desire in their hearts to worship me, and they will never leave me.”
